Gunti Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Vinukonda

This Temple has very famous history in Ramayana. The place vinukonda historically called as Srutha giri. After that it became as vinna konda or vinukonda.

Here in this his Lord Rama heard that Ravana took Sita to Lanka from Jatayuvu. That's why it was known in the history as "Sruthagiri" means listened.

It was known as Tapa Anjaneya swami means Postman. He was behaved like a Postman between Rama and Sita in the Ramayana. He started his journey to Lanka from this place only.
